FAQ - Microblading
WHAT SHOULD I DO PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT?
Area of treatment should be clear of any problematic issues. (acne, burns, b, bruises, infection etc)
Do not sugar, wax, tweeze or tint the brows 2 days prior to the procedure.
Tinting (if needed) should be done 5-6 days prior to the appointment so the color has time to fully process and settle.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER TREATMENT?
All makeup (foundation) and facial products in the treated area.
Avoid workouts or activities that involve excessive sweating, tanning beds, swimming pools and massage treatments until you are surfaced healed (7days). Always apply SPF to preserve pigments longer.
WHAT ARE THE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS?
1 hour after
Gently cleanse the area in circular motions with a cotton pad dampened with water. Blot cleansing can also be done. Pat dry. The cleansing will help remove all the lymph fluid and blood and prevent any scabs from forming. (if left uncleaned brow area will scab and pigment will not retain in the skin). Continue this aftercare every hour during the first the day of treatment. After the last cleanse application of aftercare is needed. Be sure to wash your hands more often and use hand sanitizer to prevent any possible spread of germs that may cause infection.
Cleanse the brow area morning and night following the initial instructions and apply aftercare.
Cleanse the brows morning and night and applying the aftercare after each wash. Careful to not prematurely remove any scabs and let them shed off naturally.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TOUCH UP?
Touch ups can be book 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure.
