FAQ - Eyeliner
WHAT SHOULD I DO PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Area of treatment should be clear of any problematic issues.
Eyelash extensions must be taken off prior to eyeliner appointment.
Do not tint or have a lash lift procedure 2 days prior.
Do not wear contact lens during the procedure.
Bring sunglasses to wear home as your eyes will be light sensitive
Topical anesthetic use is recommended 1 hour before treatment to ensure the procedure can be as comfortable as possible. Can be purchased from your local pharmacy or from JENNXINK.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER TREATMENT?
All makeup (foundation eyeshadows eyeliner) and facial products in the treated area.
Avoid workouts or activities that involve excessive sweating, tanning beds, swimming pools and massage treatments until you are surfaced healed (5 days).
Always apply an SPF when healed to preserve your pigments longer.
WHAT ARE THE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS?
It may be necessary to cold compress after treatment as area is very sensitive and treatment may cause swelling. Cold compress may be done for up to 24 hours. Area can be cleansed with appropriate cleanser 2-3 times a day and aftercare applied to treated area 2-3 times a day. Please do not rub or pick the area as this can cause premature removal of pigment. Wash hands more often and use hand sanitizer to prevent any possible spread of germs that may cause infection.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TOUCH UP?
Touch ups if needed can be book 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure.
